Vote Early, Vote Often, &Vote For Me

Confucius say, “Man who wants pretty nurse must be patient.”

This vaguely racist piece of fortune cookie quip is relatively on par.  Being a patient means you will get a nurse, but not necessairly a pretty one.  Nursing, like all other professions except modeling, is filled with ugly people.  Yes, we’re beautiful on the inside, but being pretty metaphysically is not the same as being pretty physically.

I am a nurse who is described by brains rather than beauty.  No doctor has ever hit on me, and while I think this is mostly because I worked with straight, male doctors, it still had its self esteem damaging effects.  You can help reverse that and make me feel beautiful by voting for me in the Chamberlain College Nurse of the Month contest.  The winner gets a salon & spa treatment.  Being a male, a salon treatment is not something I would enter in a contest to win.  But one of my nursing professors was fond of saying, “Male or female, a nurse is a nurse.”  And I am a nurse, an ugly one, who wants to feel pretty.  Your votes are appreciated.
