Out of Town Improv Show

Howdy Improvisationalists,

14 inches of snow will not stop the Purdue Improv Club from meeting!  Unfortunately, an out-of-town show and lack of genetic cloning and duplication will.  The Ship of Fools are performing at 8/9 CST on Friday in the Towle theater in Hammond, Indiana.  It is a 1.5 hour drive to Hammond and tickets are $5 with a student ID and $10 without but you are all encouraged to see the show.  If you have any questions feel free to ask me or check the recap below.

  • No regular meeting on Friday, February 16th
  • SoF show at 8 CST at the Towle theater in Hammond, Indiana
    • $5 with a student ID
    • $10 without a student ID

  1. You don’t seriously wish that, do you?! Evil things follow a doppelganger!

    • You’re just creeped out by the fact that you HAVE one.

…And even after being in the same room as him, nothing ‘evil’ happened- the worst thing that happened was the theater starting Happy Feet instead of Casino Royale, and that was just funny.

      • It doesn’t have to be instantaneous or anything. It’s just an evil omen.

      • Someone can’t say “good luck” without you arguing about the existence (or, I guess, non-existence) of luck… and you’re telling me you’re worried about ‘evil omens’?

        *COME on!*

      • 1. I do not actually want a doppelganger. As we all know that would bring about evil as a variety of cool-sounding German words do.

        2. I have to side with Polliwog about the “good luck” thing. Luck is the same as chance. You know as well as I about odds, statistics, chances, and probabilities. You’re a scientist and a good majority of what you do depends on it. She calls it luck, you call it chance, Paul calls it a random number generator.

        3. I think it’s cute that you two are fighting on my LJ. I just hope you two do not have make up sex on it. There are rooms for that you know.

      • 1. Good.
        2. I don’t really believe in luck, as you know. I just think it’s fun to talk about doppelgangers.
        3. Check.
